About American GunCrafters

American Guncrafters was founded to fulfil a need for custom 1911 pistolcraft at prices for the working man. 

We also offer very reasonable prices on gun repair and modification and will handle firearm transfers for guns bought/sold out-of-State.

The guns we sell are quality but low-priced and meant to be used.  

American GunCrafters is owned and operated in Gahanna, OH (just outside of Columbus) by Robert S. (Bob) Maroldy.

Bob is a Benefactor Life member of the National Rifle Association (NRA), a member of the Ohio Gun Collector's Association (OGCA), Buckeye Firearms Association (BFA), American Gunsmithing Association (AGA) and the United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA).

Bob has been repairing guns for over 50 years and has built competition-

winning 1911 auto pistols.

Kaylee is a female German Shepherd, trained, and Franklin County, Ohio Certified, as a Mobility Assistance Service Dog. Kaylee is Bob's constant companion and loves to go to the range for test firing as she is not bothered by gunfire in the least. (She loves the smell of gun oil and Hoppes #9)
